Future POS, the hospitality software provider based in Butler, PA, won the coveted Gold Medallion award at the Retail Solution Providers Association (RSPA) convention at the annual tradeshow in Reno, NV on July 25, 2006.
The nationally recognized award, presented to the vendor with the highest satisfaction as rated by its dealer network, is highly sought after by all vendors, as it is a “report card” on a vendors ability to deliver service, support, product updates, and features. Even though Future POS has only been marketing to dealers since 1998, the company has seen phenomenal growth throughout its dealer network, and now with representation in Canada and in the United Kingdom. The company points out that its growth is attributed to two things: an affordable solution that includes all features and modules at no extra costs, and the ability to “stay small,” even though the company continues to grow. This means that new features can be added to the software in a timely manner, which sets them apart from others in this industry.
Joe Finizio, Executive Director of RSPA, issued the following statement regarding the award: 'Each year the RSPA presents awards that acknowledge the best vendors supplying the retail information marketplace. The Gold Medallion Award is the highest recognition a company can receive from our membership and represents the best overall vendor to our industry.'
